Partly listed and listed as a Historic Monument, the Château de Soulanger in Doué-en-Anjou, in Maine-et-Loire, was built for Baron Joseph François Foullon in the second half of the 18th century.
Composed of three levels, it then reveals a vaulted basement for the kitchens and cellars, a raised ground floor with vestibule, lounges, bedrooms and library, a first floor composed of bedrooms, a chapel and a billiard room and a second floor reserved for servants.
Destroyed at the end of the 18th century during the Revolution, the Château de Soulanger today only reveals a basement, an entrance pavilion and stables. The latter, sold as national property during the Revolution, now house the Aux Anciens Commerces museum.
