Things to see and do

When the stroll through the streets of Domont begins, you will be seized by this nonchalance that reigns in the city. The first building not to be missed is undoubtedly the Sainte-Marie-Madeleine church built in 1150. Classified as Historic Monuments, the church is full of architectural details and vestiges of the past remarkable. The visit continues through the present town hall, which dates from 1870-1880. Named the Prieuré Castle, it was actually a very large mansion. On your way you will find the castle of Ombreval. Events and festivities

At the end of September and beginning of October, the international circus festival of Val d'Oise is held in Domont. On the program, a nation invited every year that presents exceptional numbers.

In October, runners will not miss the traditional footing Domontois. As every year, many joggers are at the rendezvous. A refreshing buffet awaits the riders on arrival.

On Thursdays and Sundays throughout the year, the market takes place at Domont on the Avenue Jean Jaurès. You will find fresh produce, varied vegetables and appetizing meats to fill your basket. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the city.
