Listed in the Historical Monuments, the tower of Doizieux takes place on the eponymous town, in the department of the Loire, in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Former dungeon, it used to belong to a castle built in the course of the twelfth century, and was used to accommodate the services of the town hall until the twentieth century. Square plan, it originally had five floors. One can still admire three archers defending the facade turned towards the escarpment.
