Dizy is a commune in the Marne, Champagne-Ardenne. His motto, Champenois Dizy proud I am, shows a strong character in its people and important traditions in this town. The town lies in the valley of the Marne in the Champagne vineyards and is part of the outskirts of Epernay. Full member of the Regional Natural Park of the Montagne de Reims, the city of Dizy is located about twenty kilometers from Reims.

Former Gallo-Roman site, the town of Dizy was partly destroyed during the First World War and is still on the path of Liberty, between Epernay and Reims, in the Second World War. Tourism, the city is mostly oriented towards trade in wines of Champagne, the great specialty of the region.

Ideally located to discover the charms of the Champagne-Ardenne, City Dizy also has an interesting architectural heritage, not lack of interest.

Located in the Regional Natural Park of the Montagne de Reims, the city of Dizy offers beautiful views, but also a cultural heritage of the most interesting.

The Regional Natural Park of the Montagne de Reims is a magnificent site to discover the flora and fauna surrounding the city of Dizy. Various hiking trails are accessible to all nature lovers. Established in 1976, it is organized around the famous mountain of Reims which it takes its name, and covers nearly 530 km². Wood Champagne vineyards... the hills, the landscapes are varied and allow to soak up the beauty of the region.

Dizy The church is dedicated to St. Timothy and St. Apollinaire. Romanesque style, it was partly destroyed by the Huguenots during the Wars of Religion. One can still admire an eighteenth century choir and a bell tower probably dating from the twelfth century, as the nave. A second church, St. Mary, can also be admired. Events and festivities

No Dizy market, but some events are offered, however, as an ideal flea market for bargains, every year the day of Mother's Day.

Dizy The employer party is held every third weekend in July, with several animations as rides, food and music.
