Dizy is a commune in the Marne, Champagne-Ardenne. His motto, Champenois Dizy proud I am, shows a strong character in its people and important traditions in this town. The town lies in the valley of the Marne in the Champagne vineyards and is part of the outskirts of Epernay. Full member of the Regional Natural Park of the Montagne de Reims, the city of Dizy is located about twenty kilometers from Reims.
Former Gallo-Roman site, the town of Dizy was partly destroyed during the First World War and is still on the path of Liberty, between Epernay and Reims, in the Second World War. Tourism, the city is mostly oriented towards trade in wines of Champagne, the great specialty of the region.
