The town of Dissay is located near the Futuroscope (5 km), the forest of Moulière, lung department and one of the largest forests in the north of the region of New Aquitaine, and the leisure park of Saint-Cyr (area of 300 ha including a 85 ha lake: beach, fishing, water sports, golf, various activities...). Many assets that make it an ideal stop for a few days of vacation, or a step on the way to Compostela.
Between the Clain Valley and the forest of Moulière, 15 km from Poitiers, Dissay is known for its magnificent castle (it is now a private property where a project of restoration, hospitality and spa is developing), built as a country residence in the 15th century by Pierre d'Amboise, bishop of Poitiers.
Its municipal campsite welcomes you in its green setting. Located in town center, it is close to shops, Saturday morning market, the castle, but also the church of Saint Pierre-Saint Paul listed on the supplementary inventory of historical monuments.
