Devay is a recent village of about 500 inhabitants located on the edge of a cliff which dominates the edge of the Loire, over 4 km.
Five hiking trails provide access to the last wild river in Europe and discover the village of the village.
The village church built at the end of the 19th century is distinguished by its steeple-porch and is characterized by its neo-Romanesque style. It includes a 19th century font representing Saint-Victor.
The activity of the village has long focused on viticulture, the town still owns a few vines and celebrates every year, on the first Sunday in October, the Fête du Vin Doux.
