The Port of Marinas of Deauville was fitted out from 1972 to 1975 as part of a residential project comprising buildings and shops at the foot of which pontoons allow ships to be parked.
Vast 10 hectares, located at the level of the Touques estuary, between Trouville and its casino to the east and the Planches beach to the west, this new port made it possible to replace the Morny port, further back, but regularly saturated.
The port of Marinas in Deauville is protected from the English Channel by a 770 m long granite block dike and its layout is inspired by the Vieux Bassin d'Honfleur.
It has a capacity of 700 boats on pontoons. It also has a 60-berth visitors area (be careful, the port is reserved for boats under 32 m and with a maximum draft of 2.80 m).
Toilets, showers, car parks, water and electricity points: all the equipment and services are easily accessible, not to mention a technical area.
Note that the sailing school of the prestigious Deauville Yacht Club (DYC) is based on the site (information on +33 2 31 88 38 19).
