Village located on the heights of Dijon, in the department of Côte-d'Or, Daix takes place in Burgundy-Franche-Comté, not far from Chenove and Bellefond.
Gallo-Roman city, the former Distrus takes its current name in the first half of the fourteenth century. Long dependent on Dijon, the town was for a long time an important wine village of the Duchy of Burgundy. This small town with a quiet appearance and low population has however experienced population growth in the second half of the twentieth century.
Today, Daix attracts as much for its preserved and extended landscapes as for its architectural heritage which testifies to its rich and eventful history. We discover a typical Burgundy style that gives it a certain charm and authenticity.
