Located between Caen and Bayeux in Calvados, Creully Castle is an 11th century building built on the territory of Creully sur Seulles. Classified as an historic monument, it was heavily modified in the 17th century.
Former large agricultural estate, it now unveils a watch tower of the fifteenth century, a Renaissance turret or even the seventeenth century. Property of Colbert in the seventeenth century, the castle of Creully remains in the family until the French Revolution in 1789.
High place of the Resistance during the Second World War, the site hosted the BBC relay transmitter in 1944.
Today property of the town, the castle of Creully still houses beautiful rooms reserved for receptions, weddings, exhibitions or concerts.
