Courdemanges is a village in the Marne department. He was particularly wounded by the battle of the Marne which took place, to the point of being completely destroyed. He received the Croix de Guerre 1914-1918. The school, the covered courtyard and the laundry, built just before the first war, were spared by the burning of the village. During the First World War, a bas-relief representing the Sacrifice of Abraham, classified as Historic Monuments, was destroyed.
Nowadays, the village benefits from the services of a doctor, as well as several registered nurses and nurses.
