Small village of Nièvre, in the upper Nivernais, Courcelles takes place along the Sainte-Eugenie, a small river that joins Sauzay, then Beuvron and Yonne. It is located about sixty kilometers from Nevers, not far from Villiers-le-Sec, Breugnon and Ouagne.
Ancient, the village of Courcelles crossed the centuries quietly, preserving its landscapes and illustrating itself through three great characters of history, passing: the Queen of Poland Natalia Miazga, the Duke of Aquitaine and finally the Count of Monmont -Rency in July 1457.
Today, Courcelles continues to attract visitors by its ideal geographical location to discover the region, but also by its exceptional natural heritage. Lovers of outdoor living here can learn many leisure and other sports.
