Small town of Seine-et-Marne, Condé-Sainte-Libiaire takes place ten kilometers from Meaux, on the banks of the Grand Morin. The Ile-de-France is also bordered by the Marne, enjoying a very pleasant natural setting.
The former Condetum Sancte Libiaire is a village of very ancient origin, probably dating from the Celtic period. Formerly a dependency of the province of Champagne and the Brie, it became the property of the crown of France in the course of the thirteenth century. So land of vineyards, it stops its production of wine at the end of the XIXe century.
Condé-Sainte-Libiaire is now better known for its tourist activity linked to its interesting architectural heritage, as well as its landscapes suitable for walks with family or friends. Small country village, Condé-Sainte-Libiaire seems far removed from the tumults of neighboring cities.
