Things to see and do

The city of Colomiers has a rich heritage full of interest for lovers of old stones and history.

Located not far from Duroch Park, the Sainte-Radegonde church is one of the city's most beautiful monuments. Of the main building, which owes its name to a former Frankish queen, only a very beautiful Gothic style bedside remains. This square tower in pink bricks can be admired from the outside because the church is now closed to the public due to the risk of rockfall.

Built between the 17th and 18th centuries, the Perget farm presents the typical architecture of the Toulouse countryside. We can still admire some facade elements, as well as a very beautiful park. From the 18th century, the Perget dovecote is one of the emblems of the city with its pink bricks and its four arcades.

In the old center of Colomiers, visitors can appreciate beautiful 19th century brick and pebble houses, as well as charming little streets.

Fans of French history will not fail to stop by the Château de l'Armurier, which was, in 1940, the site of Léon Blum's arrest.

Do not miss the oratory which has been decorated with a fresco by Jean Ningres. One can also admire there an allegory of the four evangelists.

Behind the clinic, you can still admire the facade of the Château du Cabirol.

With a more contemporary architecture, the Pavillon Blanc Henri-Molina is designed by Rudy Ricciotti, architect of the Mucem in Marseille.
