Built in 1968, the Colmar Expo has a history linked to that of the former wine fair that was held in the heart of the city. It is the constant increase in the number of visitors that has driven the construction of this new building outside the city center.
Today, the site offers five halls welcoming throughout the year major cultural events or sports. The Colmar Expo exhibition center also has an outdoor theater expanded in the late 1990s.
