Things to see and do

Two churches contribute to the heritage of Labastide-Murat, St. Catherine, and St. John the Baptist Goudou. They reflect both the typical architecture of this part of Lot with bright stones.

History buffs will especially enjoy the Murat museum dedicated to this local child who became Marshal of the Empire before turning into the king of Naples as the goodwill of Napoleon Bonaparte. It takes place in the birthplace of Joachim Murat in which his parents ran a restaurant. Inside the site that holds the label of the illustrious House, one can enjoy various objects and memorabilia that recall the life of Marshal of France.
