Village of Haute-Garonne, in Occitanie, Cierp-Gaud takes place at the foot of the Pyrenees, about fifteen kilometers from the Spanish border. It is located not far from Saint-Gaudens, Burgalays and Saléchan, in the heart of Haut-Comminges.
Ideal space for nature lovers wishing to get away from the city bustle, Cierp-Gaud has developed since Prehistory, knowing from then on a turbulent history, especially during the Hundred Years War or the War of Succession from Spain. The town as we know it today, was not really born until 1972, with the merger of Cierp and Gaud.
The mountain city attracts many tourists every year with its unspoiled landscapes and sporting activities such as climbing or mountain biking.
