Things to see and do

Built in the 16th century, the Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul church is now classified as a Historic Monument. In flamboyant Gothic style, it reveals a bulb-shaped bell tower reminiscent of the bell towers of Franche-Comté. It takes place on the remains of a first building from the 13th century.

Don't forget to admire the exterior of the Château de Ribourdin. A lowland castle built in the 14th century, it notably reveals a Renaissance dovecote. The building now houses comfortable guest rooms.

You can also discover the Manoir de la Mothe, a former medieval castle from the 13th century destroyed during the wars of religion, of which there remains a spiral staircase decorated with coats of arms integrated into a Henry IV pavilion from the 17th century.

Other buildings can also be discovered outside such as the remains of the Château de La Borde, former property of the leader of the Huguenots of Chevannes, the Château de Fontaine Madame or the fortified farm of Baulches. Located on the banks of the river, it houses the remains of a 9th century fortress.
