Urban center in the south of the Eure-et-Loir, the city of Châteaudun is located at the river "Le Loir" to the edge of the Beauce and Perche.

In a city environment in the countryside, woodland, the center, its castle with powerful limestone foundation, its historic district are installed on the rocky outcrop overlooking the valley and offers a beautiful panorama.

Home to about 14,000 "Dunois", she is among the "100 Most Beautiful Detours in France".
