An aerodrome open to public air traffic, Mâcon airport takes place about twenty minutes north of Lyon, in the town of Charnay-lès-Macon, in Saône-et-Loire. Mainly used for the practice of leisure and tourism activities, it is occupied by associations of light aviation, helicopter and model aircraft.
Created at the end of the 1920s, today the site has a paved track 1230 meters long, two parking areas and a refueling station.
