Village Chaon (pronounced "cap") is located on the borders of three departments: the Loir-et-Cher, Loiret and Cher open territory Raboliot hero Maurice Genevoix.
Its main street lined with small brick houses, while long stretches to connect three places: the place of Bourgneuf where are the shops, instead of covering Malnoue River and extends to Loches by Street Gaucherie leading to the old mill and the Town Hall Square with the beautiful perspective includes the church (XII century), Town Hall, a small private mansion, and basically, the street where the ECU shake oldest Chaon houses.
To the east, leaving the village, you can admire the castle surrounded by a moat and its common then, a little further, you will find a communal ponds.
The "curiosity" of the village lies on the western outskirts of the village: the House of Poaching (unique museum theme that offers up a corner of the veil on illegal hunting).
