The castle and its grounds Champs-sur-Marne:
Built in the 18th century, famous tenants succeed one another, the Dukes de la Valliere, Lévis and the Marquise de Pompadour. In 1895, Louis Cahen d'Anvers, a great collector fascinated by the 18th century, commissioned the architect Destailleur restore the castle and uses Henri Duchêne for the park.
After 6 years, restoration sets and collections, the castle is open to the public again. Chinese lounge, smoking, boudoir shades ... each richly furnished and decorated room is to discover through a guided tour redesigned reinforced digital tablets.
Walk in the park of 85 ha between French garden and English park is an idyllic setting for this house of pleasure from the 18th century.
