Charming little village in the Nièvre, where the river Nièvre has its source, Champlemy takes place about forty kilometers from Nevers, in the Loire basin. It is located on the watershed of the basins of the Seine and the Loire, not far from Varzy and Prémery.
Surrounded by fields, woods and meadows, the town enjoys an idyllic natural setting to enjoy a short stay in this corner of France. Populated since the Gallo-Roman era, it suffered many assaults, including Saxons in the ninth century, but later knows a relatively peaceful history.
Even today, Champlemy seduces with its authentic charm and its modest architectural heritage to discover the time of a stay in the region.
