Castle of Clauzuroux

Monument in Champagne-et-Fontaine

Built between the 17th and 18th centuries, Clauzuroux Castle is located on the remains of an old medieval manor. Listed as a Historic Monument, it is in the form of a square surrounded by two round towers from the 17th century and equipped with an 18th century pediment. The whole is framed by two pavilions topped with attic roofs. The buildings are accompanied by a park, a French garden, a water mill or even a water staircase.

The Château de Clauzuroux today hosts guest rooms and gîtes.
