Listed as a Historic Monument, the Château de Chacé now houses the town hall of Bellevigne-les-Châteaux in Maine-et-Loire. Former seigniorial castle, it was erected between the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century in freestone and slate.
The Château de Chacé consists of a ground floor, a first floor and an attic with a skylight. It reveals a single main building with a triangular pediment on the front. The whole is extended at each end by advancing square pavilions.
The interior has been completely restored by the municipality to house a village hall, offices and meeting rooms.
