Cell :
Cell is 25 km from Clermont -Ferrand and 9 km of Riom in the Puy-de-Dôme department in Auvergne. Its inhabitants are called " Cellulois ".
Cell is divided between the main village and two hamlets cell, Saulnat Pontmort south and east.
Until the nineteenth century, the town was the capital of La Moutade and Cheix -sur -Morge, which were attached to cell.
This place was known through the seminar of the Fathers of the Holy Spirit founded in 1856, whose influence extended to the whole world with his missionary who went to the colonies. The Spiritan Fathers are gone and the property is now a foster home for the disabled. The premises were used as framework to the filming of " The best way to walk".
