The town is 25 km from Lourdes, 23 km from Tarbes and 6 km from the spa town of Bagneres-de-Bigorre.

Every summer from July to September, have fun looking for mounaques in the streets. Dolls of life size, the mounaques are made of rags and hay, dressed in clothes. They come from an old local tradition, brought up to date in the 1990s, during a communal feast of the city of Campan, the Mariolles festival.
