Located in the heart of the Domaine des Collettes, at Cagnes-sur-Mer, the Renoir museum takes place in the heart of a field of olive trees and citrus trees which offers an incredible panorama of the Cap d'Antibes.
The site traces the last years of the famous painter in this town in the south-east of France, presenting in particular fifteen original paintings and around forty sculptures. Other artists have come to enhance the collections over the years, such as Raoul Dufy, Marcel Gimond or Aristide Maillol. Art lovers will also be able to discover his furniture as well as his workshop. The latter, completely rebuilt identically in 2019, for Renoir's centenary, unveils a space dedicated to the youngest, with in particular a didactic exhibition on the artist and his prolific work.
Listed as a Historic Monument, the house also benefits from the 20th Century Heritage label.
