Located in the downtown Caen, Calvados, the Monastery of the Visitation is a monastery founded by the Order of the Visitation in the nineteenth century. Listed historic monument, he remained famous for hosting Sister Françoise-Thérèse from 1899 to 1941.
The front of the main gate draws heavily on the former chapel of Lorge neighborhood, not far, and the building hosts two paintings classified historic monument as an object, the Fountain of Life, a Flemish work of the seventeenth century, and the Visitation of Pierre Mignard the mid-seventeenth.
