Commune of Tarn, Occitan region, Burlats takes place about forty kilometers from Albi, at the gates of Sidobre. Located in the urban area of Castres, which is nearby, it is also part of the Community of Communes Sidobre Vals and Plateaux.
At the gates of the Regional Natural Park of Haut Languedoc, the town has a human occupation for several millennia. Old, it reveals all its history through an exceptional architectural heritage to discover the time of a stay in the area.

Romanesque house of the twelfth century, the flag of Adelaide is part of the former priory. Remarkable for its five windows on the second floor which illuminate a single piece, the building has three levels. Not far away, it is also possible to admire the house of Adam, also from the twelfth century. It offers a beautiful facade on the Agout and was listed building in the first half of the twentieth century to the window that gave it its name.
Listed building, the old church of Saint Peter dates the origin of the tenth century. Became a cathedral in the early fourteenth, the abbey became a few years later collegial. Sacked and partly destroyed in the seventeenth century, it is now in ruins but was consolidated in the late nineteenth century.
Walking through the town, you will also appreciate the door Bistoure, unique vestige of the enclosure of the fourteenth century, or the castle built the seventeenth century with its tower of the fourteenth century.
Burlats hosts the most famous rock of Sidobre, the trembling rock of Seven False. More than 900 tons, it has the distinction of being moved using a simple stick.
Several marked hiking trails allow visitors to discover other exceptional natural sites like the chaos of Rouquette, St. Dominic Cave, Lake Lezert or jumping trout, a waterfall that was named after her rock fish-shaped.

The association "Artisans Creators Tarn" created in October 2005, currently has fifty professionals crafts in the shop Art and Material located in the beautiful medieval village of Burlats. They came together to meet a need visibility to showcase their unique and original creations in relation to industrial production of goods and to raise awareness of a certain art of living and consuming. Give people want to consume better valuing noble raw materials without toxic treatment and short circuit without intermediaries, through direct sales, from their workshops: scarves, stoles painted silk, leather bags, designer ready to wear feminine, textile creations, cushions, throws, hats, cloth bags, engraving, leather goods, designer jewelry, food pottery, animal and decorative raku ceramics, furniture restoration and objects, merged glassware, stained glass, decorative painting on wood, glass and metal, woodworking art, calligraphy, art paper dyed in pastel blue, painting, sculpture, cards, books... From May to September, the flag of Adelaide offers its annual exhibition of free entrance.
