Brumath houses a very interesting archaeological museum located in the basement of a castle that became a Protestant church at the beginning of the 19th century. In magnificent vaulted cellars, one can appreciate the collections devoted to the Gallo-Roman past of the city. Sculpted steles, bone or metal objects, bronze statuettes and funerary furniture are on the program of this very interesting museum.
Garden created in 1997 in place of an old vegetable garden, the garden of L'Escalier extends over a former joinery. You can walk in the heart of different areas such as an organic vegetable garden inspired by simple medieval squares, an orchard, and a Zen garden surrounded by bamboo.
Listed as an historic monument, the Church of Our Lady of Stephansfeld is one of the most beautiful buildings in Brumath, as is the Lutheran church located in the old 18th century castle. The organ there, built in 1810, has also been classified as a Historic Monument.
In the town of Brumath, it is also possible to appreciate the church of Saints Nazaire and Celsus, in neoclassical style, as well as the synagogue. The latter, built in 1846, suffered numerous injuries during the Second World War.

In June, the Brumath lake hosts the Beach Break Party. It is the largest open air electronic festival in all of eastern France. A dancefloor is installed to accommodate thousands of people dancing to the rhythm of the best DJ's.
The onion fair is a popular festival organized every year for more than 100 years in the city of Brumath. This flagship event hosts a funfair, local market and flea market. This event takes place over two days, always on the last Sunday in September. The famous Onion Fair in the town of Brumath attracts nearly 40,000 visitors every year from all over Alsace!
