Chief town of Canton, is the eighth Bruay-la-Buissière city of Pas-de-Calais in population. It is located in the borough of Bethune, in the urban community of Artois Com at the west end of the mining region Nord Pas de Calais.

Pool Art Deco:
The swimming pool is the last Salengro Art Deco in France open to swimmers. Inaugurated on 1 August 1936, it had to meet the expectations of the population in need of recreation, but also facilitate the political hygienist and public health at the time. It was built by Paul Hanote and its architecture recalls the great transatlantic prewar. It was heated until 1963, coal and gas.
Open from June to September, this gem today offers an ideal setting for summer swimming.
