  • Church of Our Lady of the Assumption:
  • Registered Historic Monument, the building dates from the late 15th century.
  • It has a bell tower and four turrets of great finesse. Its interior decoration is very rich. Recent restorations have helped develop its altar and the pulpit, historic monuments, and reveal the originality of paint and paneling. Outside, the Grand Cross of the court dated 16th century form with the depository and the burial stone of ads, a very rare in the department. Note the presence of a tombstone commemorating the memory of two knights of the Lock died in the Crusades of the 12th and 13th centuries. This legend is unlikely: the knights were powerful lords and only small part in the Crusades with the lords of Mayenne.
  • Media visit to the church. Open houses, through the side door, all year round from 9am to 18pm.
  • Fountain "Douets"
  • This is typical arched fountain fountains also encountered in Britain. It is surmounted by a stone cross. The old communal wash house is just behind.

  • Feudal mound of the Lock:
  • Lords of the Lock, mentioned in texts from the early 11th century, are among the main Knights of the entourage of the Baron de Mayenne. There remains a castle of their feudal mound, which is one of the best preserved of the department. Le Chatelier includes two original lumps. Many legends have always existed on these places. The mission cross on its top is dated 1928.
  • Free visit all year round.
  • D5, direction Châtillon-sur-Colmont, to the hamlet of the Lock. Mound in the corner.
  • Chapel of the Lock:
  • Built in light (of stones smaller than 20 cm), the chapel is mentioned from the 12th century. It belonged to the system castral and defense of the passage of the river, Colmont and is contemporary with the motte.
  • Property, a tour of the exterior is possible all year round.
  • D5, direction Châtillon-sur-Colmont, to the hamlet of the Lock. Road to the right 80 meters from the feudal mound.
  • Manor "The Chestnut"
  • The 14th century manor house is originally a manor house with chapel. The towers will be added in the 15th and 16th centuries.
  • Property, a tour of the exterior is possible all year round.
  • D5 direction Châtillon-sur-Colmont. In the hamlet of the Lock, follow the left "The Chestnut Tree".
  • Covered walkway from the small Old Sou:
  • This covered walkway, listed building, is one of the finest megalithic monuments of the department. So-called "lateral entry", because of the position of opening, it dates from approximately 2400 BC. Its backbone is formed by 25 pillars erected vertically and covered with a dozen blocks, the whole being surrounded by a cairn of stones. This monument will be excavated and restored between 1978 and 1982 by archaeologist Roger Bouillon. The filing of excavations Jublains retains some of the finds, they are not visible now.
  • Site open to visitors all year round.
  • From the village, towards Saint-Mars-sur-Colmont D503, signs indicate the direction to follow.
  • Isle Area:
  • The castle includes a main house, outbuildings, chapel and a fountain. Part of the moat has been preserved. Property Isle of lords, the medieval chateau will be redesigned by the family of Chappedelaine the 15th and the 17th century. The chapel, surmounted by a hexagonal turret, still has its original clock and bell in 1679 listed building.
  • The visits are not allowed but can admire the castle down the road.
  • D247 and D503 and turn right towards the Luaudière, Little Old Sou, Isle.
  • Chapel Favières:
  • Dating from the 15th century Gothic chapel is initially in the grounds of the manor of Favières the 12th century. The building will be rebuilt in the 16th and the 19th century following the collapse of some buildings. The moats were partially restored. In the chapel, we see the stained glass of St. Catherine. The scope and the chapel are classified historic monument.
  • Private property. Self-guided tour of the exterior of the chapel only throughout the year. The interior is visible during Heritage Days.
  • D503 towards Saint Colmont of March, then left at a place called Favière.
  • Manor Brecé:
  • Opposite the church, the manor is a granite building component Brecé the lordship of the Middle Ages. Amended several times, it is mentioned in the 15th century.

  • Mill Favières:
  • The mill, medieval in its lower part, still has its paddlewheel. It will be modified in 1903 by Leopold Gasseau in an original and unique in France: the cage mill is preserved and a new mill was built 60 meters above the connection being made by a steel cable.
  • Moulin visible private hiking trail.
  • Moulin Neuf:
  • It was built in 1870 by Joseph Foucher and equipped with a paddle wheel in 1897. Later the wheels will be replaced by cylinders and the turbine wheel by a fountain. The mill required seven people to operate and this for 45 years. The site of the Moulin-Neuf, beautifully steep, is run by the rumblings of Colmont, especially during floods.

  • Mill Brecé:
  • Dating from the 17th century, the mill used to grind the Duke and the corn mash hemp. The upstream reach is over three kilometers in length. He stopped working in 1907. All that remains of a mill wall.

  • Stelae of "Motteraie"
  • Two steles of independent Gaul, very common in the western Armorican were erected before the close of Motteraie on each side of the road. There are twenty in Mayenne. Roman connecting voice Jublains passed close to Avranches. The headstones are visible at the entrance to the farm. In Britain, similar monuments indicate cremation graves.

  • Trail Interpretive Saut au Loup:
  • A trail currently allows the discovery of heritage. The Jump-au-Loup 7,13,15 or 20 km runs on the banks of the Colmont, raging river there. Along the way, the panels back on the built heritage, history, but also on the natural heritage of the village (ZNIEFF).
