Located in the Aude, fifteen minutes from the citadel of Carcassonne, the town of Bram takes place in the former province of Lauragais, about twenty kilometers from Castelnaudary and its cassoulet.
Circular village known for hosting the largest circulade in Europe, the ancient Eburomagus begins its history in the Gallo-Roman era. The town was sadly illustrated at the beginning of the 13th century when the army crossed it tried to take it by storm and take it back to Simon de Montfort. The latter ordered the survivors to snatch their noses and eyes for revenge.
Today, Bram attracts visitors from around the world to discover its architectural heritage and its unique setting. Its proximity to some of the most beautiful sites in the region also makes it an ideal holiday resort to enjoy all the charms of the Aude.
