Located in Île-de-France, Boulogne-Billancourt is the most populated municipality of the department of Hauts-de-Seine. Important economic center of the region, the city is stuck in Paris, by the southeast. In mid-June, the national competition Boulogne Jumping is organized in the Rothschild Park. At the same time, the city offers the Basque festival, folk and sports festival that takes place on the waterfront.

BBMIX is an international festival of rock music, electronics and art scene takes place annually the last week of October.
mid-November clash sees over 4,000 runners in the half marathon of Boulogne.
December is the theater of the High Score lounge dedicated to retro gaming and having tournaments, conferences and workshops on older video games.
