A mixture of several architectural styles, the Saint-Aignan church of Bonny-sur-Loire today benefits from classification as a Historic Monument. Partly destroyed by the Hundred Years' War, it was rebuilt between the end of the 15th and the beginning of the 16th century.
In Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance styles, the Saint-Aignan church reveals a choir, a lower right side and a 12th century bell tower. Visitors can also admire a low left side of the choir and a 15th century nave with two Romanesque pillars.
A Renaissance style south transept portal, statues of Saint Vincent and Saint Eloi in gilded wood from the 12th century as well as stained glass windows from the 19th and 20th centuries complete the decor of the building.
