Small village of Haute-Savoie, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Boëge takes place about fifty kilometers from Annecy and its lake. It is located in the heart of the Green Valley, about thirty kilometers from Lake Geneva, not far from Villard, Bogève and Nangy.
Occupied since the Neolithic, the territory of Boëge developed in the Middle Ages with the installation of different families of lords. Long dependent on the Duchy of Savoy, the town joined France in the mid-19th century following a referendum.
Very dynamic, this Haut-Savoyard town has a rich architectural heritage to discover during a stay in the region.
