- Blangy is located in the heart of the valley of the Bresle as its name suggests, between the Bresle and the High Forest of Eu. It is served by an interchange of the A28 and the railway station located on Blangy-sur-Bresle line Tréport Beauvais-Mers.
- A little history:
- On March 9, 1592: King Henry the fourth resident of Fountain Manor during his campaign in Normandy.
- In 1802 the capital of the canton is transferred to Foucarmont Blangy.
- In 1944 the city was badly damaged after a bombing.
- On April 9, 1962: Blangy takes the name of Blangy-sur-Bresle.
