Castels et Bézenac

Listed as a monument of France, St. Martin's Church was built in the twelfth century and rebuilt in the fourteenth. Nearby you can admire the Church of Redon-Espic twelfth century listed building, or the Saint-Pierre-es-Liens thirteenth and remodeled in the nineteenth church.

But it is mainly for its natural heritage as the common Castels et Bézenac is popular with visitors who can admire the nineteen sources, washing and fountains of the territory, or get to the hot sulfur spring Fontchaude which was known from the Gallo -romaine for its sludge meant to treat rheumatism.

By taking various hiking trails, be sure to admire the Rock Spiked, a cave decorated with engraving and Paleolithic site Berbie, a cave from the Upper Palaeolithic. Both sites are currently closed to the public.

Several marked trails allow to appreciate the charms of the town, like Castels loop, loop Bézenac, the loop of fountains and wash or the play trail for children and families "Fabio little bird" whose libretto very playful is available at the intercommunal tourist office in Saint Cyprien.
