Located at 7 rue Charles Nodier, at Besançon, the Hôtel de Magnoncourt is now classified as a Historic Monument. Erected in the 18th century by the architect Claude Joseph Alexandre Bertrand for the former captain Claude-François Henrion de Magnoncourt, the building reveals five monumental spans on its street frontage. The set is completed by outbuildings in return on a closed courtyard and a pretty little garden.
Two side vestibules also reveal Doric columns and pilasters while inside it is possible to discover an original decoration in Louis XVI style. The site now houses the DRAC, the regional directorate of cultural affairs, local.
