Village Haute-Vienne region in New Aquitaine, Berneuil takes place about forty kilometers from the city of Limoges, famous for its architectural heritage and its famous porcelain. It is located near Bellac Blanzac and Nantiat.
Populated since the Roman times, as evidenced by the remains found there, the town was called Berneuil Berreuil until the early eighteenth century. Mainly oriented agriculture and livestock, it gradually grew with the arrival of industry and new technologies.
Today Berneuil continues to attract visitors with its idyllic location in the heart of unspoilt nature and authentic, but also by its cultural and historical heritage which is not without interest, especially for lovers of old stones.
