Additional information
Mount Aimé

Mount Aimé is a mound bearing witness to the history of Champagne. This is the Countess Blanche of Navarre, in 1210, who built the castle of Mont-Aimé. Following three seats conducted during the Hundred Years War, the fortress was dismantled. It remains today a few remains. In 1815, after the Campaign of France and the fall of Napoleon I, a parade of 300,000 soldiers gave glory to Tsar Alexander of Russia. Finally, in 1914, Mount Aimé has emerged as a strategic site of the Battle of the Marne and especially the Marshes of Saint-Gond.

Today, historic and natural site is conducive to walking and relaxation (open spaces, picnic area) in the heart of the vineyard. From the viewpoint, it is possible to discover a panorama of the Côte des Blancs Champagne and plains.
