A very beautiful Romanesque building from the 13th century, listed as a Historic Monument, the Saint-Nicolas church of Beaune was erected outside the ramparts. A fairly homogeneous architectural ensemble, it was partly remodeled in the 14th and then in the 15th century.
The Saint-Nicolas church of Beaune is particularly known for its porch decorated with chimeras as well as its bell tower with a tuff spire from the 15th century.
