Built in the Louis XVI style, Granchain Castle dates from the second half of the 18th century. Owned by the Work of Hospitality since the 1960s, it is now privately owned. It was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century following a fire, and now has a flamboyant neo-Gothic style. While on Granchain, do not miss to admire the Rufaudière of the mid-sixteenth century, or the presbytery rebuilt in the late nineteenth century.
