City of Val-d'Oise, in Île-de-France, Beauchamp takes place about fifteen kilometers from Cergy, in the heart of the Montmorency valley. It is located about twenty kilometers from Paris and its tourist monuments, not far from Herblay-sur-Seine, Taverny and Saint-Leu-la-Forêt.
Populated since Celtic times, the territory of Beauchamp began to develop around Caesar's Camp, many remains of which have been found during archaeological excavations. Created only in 1922 from one end of the territory of Taverny, the town experienced a real boom with the arrival of the railway which linked it to Paris and its economic activities.
