Located on the edge of the Loire, the commune of Béard, 172 inhabitants, offers a variety of landscapes, Loire with its remarkable flora and fauna, but also forest and agricultural with a mixed farming and breeding activity (Charolais, sheep, goats).
The village also has a picnic area on the banks of the Loire, as well as a play area for children.
Summer is punctuated by exhibitions and concerts in the church as well as a village festival with fireworks.
