Standing on a hill overlooking the farmland and forest Villecartier, Bazouges-la-Pérouse meaning "Basilica of stones" is a Small City of Character.

City of Upper Brittany prosperous in the Middle Ages, it is the seat of a lordship and a royal court. His tumultuous (religious wars, revolutionary turmoil) and merchant past Bazouges-la-Pérouse preserved remains of walls and old houses with granite facades noble patina of time. St. Peter's Church and St. Paul about it will surprise you by its original architecture. You will discover a magnificent glass roof dating from 1574.
