Located in the heart of Aurillac, the Hôtel de la Préfecture du Cantal is a beautiful building from the beginning of the 19th century, now listed as a Historic Monument. Neoclassical in style, it is the first building specially constructed to house the prefecture of a French department.
The site is accessible to the public during Heritage Days.
