Aunay-sur-Odon:
Located at the crossroads of the routes from Old to Avranches and Bayeux to Condé-sur-Noireau, the site of Aunay-sur-Odon has been occupied since the Gallo-Roman era.
The lord of Aunay participated in the battle of Hastings in 1066.
In 1131, an abbey church was founded by the du Hommet, constables of Normandy and Aunay develops and is prosperous until the English invasions of the fourteenth century. Aunay remained a typically monastic town until the Revolution.
Henry II of England gave special protection to Aunay and the Countess of Tesse obtained confirmation of the market established in the city.
In 1895, Aunay became Aunay-sur-Odon.
Entirely destroyed by the bombings of June 12, 1944, Aunay-sur-Odon was the first municipality of Normandy rebuilt thanks to the Marshall Plan, these works being completed in 1950.
Danvou-la-Ferrière:
Place where was a former iron ore mining mill, Danvou is an old village, hilly and well exposed, where it is good to live and walk. Hiking trails including the GR221 from Mont-Saint-Michel. A preserved nature!
As for the pleasures of the table, you will find a producer of foie gras, rillettes, terrines and meats.
The Plessis-Grimoult:
7 kilometers from Aunay-sur-Odon and 14 kilometers from Condé-sur-Noireau. Grimoult was the name of the first known lord. The village is at the foot of Mount Pinçon, the highest point of Calvados with 345 meters high. At the top is installed the Caen Radio and Television Transmitting Center, the tall pylon tall of 216 meters was built in 1968.
Danvou-la-Ferrière:
Two private castles are on the town, one that belonged to Marshal Grouchy, the other to the oldest family of the village.
The village is crossed by quiet and natural hiking trails. Pilgrims will be able to join Mont-Saint-Michel.
The church is open at unspecified times to rest and meditate.
For the gastronomic specialties, a farm offers foie gras, rillettes, terrines... In summer, visits of the farm are proposed.

- This show was born of a desire to work around stupidity, in the sense of futility. Nothing interesting will be said here, no ideas claimed, no feats achieved, but we're betting on the fact that there's a real wealth of sensitivity, humor and poetry to be found in banality. - Every situation is a series of mini-hostage situations, from which it is often difficult to escape. We have imagined this show as an accumulation of all these moments, more or less long and more or less significant, featuring characters who may or may not speak, listeners, observers, victims or executioners of everyday life. - Ages 10 and up.
