Castle of Captan

Monument in Audignon

19th century castle located in Audignon, in the Landes, the Château de Captan today benefits from a registration as a Historic Monument for its outbuildings and its fountain. Entirely built at the end of the 19th century on the remains of an older building, it is the work of Edouard André, a famous Parisian landscape architect associated with the Bordeaux architect Garros.

Inhabited private property, the Château de Captan is unfortunately not accessible to visitors.
