Attractions to discover abound in the town of Audenge and activities are galore.

Property of the Coastal Conservancy, the area certainly has been classified as sensitive natural area. Grand of 400 hectares, it consists of 150 hectares of wet meadows and other softwood. The estate was built in the second half of the eighteenth century for salt production. One can admire from outside the castle, listed as a park, in the inventory of Historical Monuments. The coastal path can admire the natural wonders of the area, and the General Council offers naturalist guided tours in the summer.

Perfect for nice walks, driveways Boissiere has beautiful shaded paths by more than 150 plane trees classified.

Walking through the town, it is possible to observe the double feudal mound of the old castle of Audenge and the field Graveyron. The port is also of great interest to admire the natural beauty surrounding it.

Audenge presents its visitors three pools filled with sea water very refreshing baths.

You can visit the only breeding leeches France. The latter, which has existed since the nineteenth century, exports around the world.

Events and festivities

The Audenge market is held every Tuesday morning.

The feast of Saint-Yves takes place every year in May. In the program, a fun fair, concerts, fairs, Mass on the port, or many animations.

In June, the festival Les Cordes the Winds is a great musical event of the city.
